Andrea "Pinguino" Moretti is a sound healer and Capoeira practitioner. He specialed in sound bath and movement, working with different instruments like Gong, Didgeridoo, Native American Flute etc.
He trained with a founding Master of this therapy during a journey in Nepal. Andrea has over a decade of experience teaching Capoeira in both Italy and UK, working with adults as well as little ones.
He is now exploring the synergy between movement and sound.
Since completing her 200-hour yoga teacher training course in Los Angeles, California in 2012, Molly has continually expanded her yoga training in London.
Her classes integrate intelligent asana with nourishing pranayama. She has completed additional training in Tapasya Hot Yoga at TriYoga, and Relax and Renew® Restorative Yoga Levels I and II, Pregnancy Yoga, Postnatal Yoga and Mum, Dad and Baby Yoga.
Molly is honoured to have studied with Jeanne Heileman, Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, Judith Hanson Lasater, Nadia Narain, Kristin Campbell, Jason Crandell and other inspiring souls and shares their wisdom in every class.
As a lawyer, Molly understands the benefits of yoga to aid in enduring high stress environments and long hours!
Molly currently teaches classes throughout London and offers one-to-one private and small group sessions.
With a background in Aerial Yoga, Yoga Anatomy, Yoga Medicine, Rieki and Meditation my approach to yoga is one that gives a balance of relaxation, combined with focused alignment and strength training.
Through a variety of poses and conscious sequencing, my classes will build strength, flexibility and balance body and mind. I have regular teaching positions for some of London’s top gyms and academies, including Virgin Active Kensington, Third Space, The Lodge Space and The Coco Club.
The essence of my teaching is to bring calm, inspiration and ancient wisdom from different arts into one. Come experience yoga as a beautiful way to celebrate life and restore the soul.
With an early interest in all things fitness, Oli first began to practice yoga as a teenager to supplement his extensive Martial arts training. He continued to develop his technique when later training to be a professional dancer. A passion for yoga quickly grew and Oli began training intensively both as a yoga teacher and personal trainer whilst working professionally as a dancer.
Now, drawing on his unique training background; Oli teaches dynamic, technical classes to unique, engaging soundtracks. He genuinely enjoys taking a personal approach in helping others find and reach their fitness goals.
Born in South America (Chile), and being one of four (quadruplets!) Fran always had an interesting story to tell. She was brought up by both of her athletic parents where from a very young age she would train in all sorts of different sports gymnastics, swimming, running and tennis.
Even though she lived a very sporty childhood she was determined to achieve her dream of becoming a professional dancer.
While she was training in performing arts, Fran still had a big passion for sport and fitness that she wanted to share with others, so she started off as a Dance Instructor and later on qualified as a Fitness Instructor & Indoor Cycling trainer.
Over the past few years she has had the opportunity to travel the world, work with some great companies and also grow a following with her own seal on social media #getinthepow, where inner strength, focus and determination are the key words when it comes to fitness and living a healthy lifestyle.
Fran is all about finding the inner POWER! She wants to inspire others to believe in themselves and make their goals and dreams happen… we are capable of anything in this world!
Emily is passionate about sharing the power that yoga can have on the body and mind. With 10 years experience as a dancer in the West End and around the world she has a great in depth knowledge of the body which she shares throughout her class.
Having originally turned to yoga to gain strength and flexibility she has been amazed to discover the benefits in her mental perception from having a regular practise. It has enabled her to deal with the stresses and rejection that a dancer faces regularly. It has allowed her to overcome her feelings of not being good enough and lead a happy and healthy life. Coming to her mat every day allows her to connect with her body and calm her otherwise very busy and anxious mind!
Her classes are light hearted and engaging and her fun, caring approach to teaching will leave you feeling at ease. Her aim is to create a beautiful community of like minded, positive yogis who can support each other through the stresses of London living and to be the best versions of themselves.
Joanna is an aerialist, contemporary dancer/choreographer, pilates, yoga (aerial yoga, yoga dance, yogalates) contemporary dance, ballet, barre teacher and yoga therapist for mental health, depression and anxiety.
Based in London she leads international workshops, training and retreats. Joanna has 15 years of experience in different mind body practices such as yoga (Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow), pilates and contemporary dance. Her classes focus on core strength, flexibility and allow for self-expression, body toning and deep connection between body and mind. She incorporates meditation into her class structure. She challenges her students with different movement patterns in the way that they progress and learn self practice in a smooth and meditative way.
She focuses on the healing and therapeutic aspects of her clients; considering prevention and recovery from injuries. She works with groups and private clients basing her experience on their individual needs. She has trained as a Yoga Therapist for mental health, depression and anxiety trained with Minded Insitute.
Maria teaches Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga and Yin Yoga as well as working professionally as a dance artist.
She has been practicing yoga for over ten years, and sees yoga both as a physical and spiritual practice, and as a way of living. Maria studied Ashtanga Yoga in Mysore in India, where she completed a 200h teacher training. She then went on to take an advanced teacher training in Yin Yoga, with The Yoga People in London.
She believes a combination of these two practices is the key to a balanced mind and body :-) Her classes are influenced by her practice as a contemporary dancer, and the knowledge of the body in movement.
She encourages students to explore the potential and movement range of their body, whilst maintaining a safe practice through postural alignment and awareness of own body.
She focuses on the connection between pranayama and asana, which can help find groundedness and energy, and act as a link towards the subtle layers of the body and mind.
Through deep listening, we can find a greater awareness of ourselves, both on and off the mat, and promote positive connections with our surroundings and each other.
Originally from Germany, Deliah trained as a professional dancer in Munich, New York and later in London to obtain an MA in Choreography. Her teaching style draws upon her Teacher Training at The Power Yoga Company and her studies in Dharma and Rocket Yoga.
She has also practiced TM (Transcendental Meditation) for many years and deepened her knowledge in Hatha Yoga through Workshops with Yogacharya Jadranko Miklec from 2008 onwards.
At theLodge.space she teaches Power Yoga, Vinyasa Flow and Yin&Yang.
BALLET CONTEMPORARY DANCE
Helen Cox is a choreographer, teacher and performer. Her formative training was in classical ballet at the School of Alberta Ballet and The School of Toronto Dance Theatre, both in Canada.
She graduated from the London Contemporary Dance School with an MA in Contemporary Dance. Helen currently teaches for the Royal Ballet School and the Royal Opera House, and is a freelance practitioner with Rambert School of Dance, Richard Alston Dance Company, New English Ballet Theatre and Central School of Ballet.
She is the founder of Children’s Contemporary Dance and is mentored by the Princes Trust Enterprise Program.
Maggie teaches vinyasa flow yoga classes and aims to share the joy and peace of mind that yoga gives her. She has been practicing yoga for 16 years and has a particular interest in yoga therapy and Jivamukti yoga.
Maggie's classes challenge you at the level that you are at, always with a focus on postural alignment and growing awareness of our bodies.
In particular she shares from her yoga therapy studies about how we compensate for weaker muscles by tightening the ones that we already overwork; how to wake up our wider supportive muscles that can help us use our body to its optimum; and how to consciously relax tension throughout our body.
Abby has always had a keen interest in Pilates, training as a dancer from an early age Pilates has gone hand in hand with her dance training. After years working professionally as a dancer around the world she decided to pursue her passion for Pilates and train to become an instructor.
Qualifying in 2016 her classes have worked side by side with her busy dance career. Abby creates a supportive, engaging atmosphere in class, where beginners and experienced clients can feel challenged.
KUNDALINI AND MEDITATION
Kundalini Yoga has a special place in my heart and I want to share the joy of Kundalini with you.
Kundalini Yoga is the yoga of ‘awareness’. It offers a deeper personal experience and connection to the Infinite. It has the ability to transform you, to develop you in ways that
you didn’t think possible. It works on any boundaries or limitations that you are experiencing. It brings together the mind, body and soul, allowing you to go deep within to
discover who you really are – creating a state of consciousness.
The benefits of Kundalini Yoga bring balance to the body, such as the central nervous system and endocrine system, calming the mind through meditation and mantras and awakening the soul through the flow of your life force, your breath.
Using these techniques, we can awaken ourselves to guide us through what life brings. Develop your practice, make small shifts and see the changes unfold little by little. The class starts with a mantra to open the space, followed by warm ups to prepare you for the kriya (a series of postures and breath techniques to focus the mind). At the end of the kriya, relaxation is used to seal the beautiful energy you created. The space is then closed with a meditation and mantra.
