MASSAGE

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

Deep Tissue Massage is a technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the fibres of the muscles, tendons and fascia.

SWEDISH MASSAGE

The various Swedish massage techniques are designed to improve your circulation, soothe your muscles and make you feel more relaxed. Swedish massage uses softer strokes on the bonier and more delicate parts of the body, and stronger strokes where there is thicker muscle coverage. This adjustment of pressure makes it an ideal massage for relaxation but can also be used to energise the body.

BACK NECK AND SHOULDER MASSAGE

A stiff neck and poor circulation can only mean one thing: too many hours sat behind your desk. That’s why we recommend you move from one chair to another. Sound mad? Chair massage is specially designed to soothe the back, neck and head in less than 25 minutes, making it one of the quickest and most cost-effective treatments out there. Now we call that the perfect lunchtime treat...

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE

Indian head massage is a technique of manipulating soft tissues in the shoulders and scalp. The therapist uses a range of different massage pressures and rhythms to stimulate the head and neck area.

THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE

If you're stressed or have chronic pain and tension, a therapeutic massage may help to alleviate the pain; be it a back or abdominal massage, it will improve your physical condition and help you relax.

SPORTS MASSAGE

When it comes to stretching, even the most diligent of gym bunnies are bound to run into the odd muscle pain from time to time. Whether you favour high intensity exercise or the lighter exertion of yoga, all that working up a sweat can get your limbs and ligaments seriously knotted up. The solution? Enter the sports massage.

HOLISTIC MASSAGE

Holistic Massage is an approach to treatment rather than a particular technique. An Holistic Massage treats the person as a whole, taking into consideration their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health, helping the body to restore itself to a balanced state.

SEATED CHAIR MASSAGE

A seated massage is an great way to recharge your batteries and take time-out without having to remove your clothes or take up too much of your day.

It includes traditional sports & Swedish massage with acupressure & shiatsu techniques and relieves aches, pains & daily tension. The chair massage treatments include a variety of pressure techniques to the back, neck, shoulders, arms, and scalp giving you the chance to release, relax and unwind.

This treatment can easily become a part of your weekly routine.

PREGNANCY MASSAGE

Pregnancy massage, promotes relaxation, soothes nerves, and relieves strained back and leg muscles in expectant mothers. Prenatal massage is especially beneficial in the second and third trimesters when the extra weight in your belly puts a strain on your back.

RELAXING MASSAGE

Relaxation massage is a gentle Swedish massage that uses smooth, gliding strokes to help you relax. The massage therapist will move at a slower pace and use lighter pressure. In a relaxation massage, there is less emphasis on working out chronic underlying muscle tension -- the adhesions or "knots" and muscle restrictions in the muscle tissue. That's because deep tissue work can be uncomfortable, and during a relaxation massage you just want to drift away and feel good.

In a Relaxing Massage, our therapist doesn't push you to the limit in order to get the muscle to release tension. It deals less with pushing out knots and digging deep into tense tissue. Instead, the therapist uses gentle and slow strokes to sweep you into a calm and dreamy state. If you're getting a massage for the first time or only have a massage a couple of times a year, this is the perfect choice.

DE STRESS MASSAGE

A De-Stress Massage combines Swedish techniques, acupressure, stretching and joint manipulation to release stress from the body. The relaxing strokes ease the mind, calm the emotions and gently push the tension from the muscles. The perfect massage for the end of the week or during hectic times.

ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is a form of Chinese medicine that involves using tiny needles to stimulate the sensory nerves under the skin (not nearly as scary as it sounds, promise!) to relieve pain. Perfect if you fancy some TLC and you aren’t afraid to try something a bit different, acupuncture is a real all-rounder, used to treat anything from aching muscles to everyday stress. Umm, where do we sign up?

OESTOPATHY

Osteopathy is a manual therapy in which the patient is treated in a holistic approach: "the Body is a Unit".

The core principle of Osteopathy is to consider that each part of your body is related and interdependent with the others.During your life, your body reacts in its own way to your internal stress (eg: scoliosis) and external stress (eg: psychosocial environment).

The aim is to understand how your whole body is functioning, why you developed this particular pain and which stressors could predispose or maintain it.

Trreatment is tailored to you and to enhance your healing process, our therapists use a large spectrum of Osteopathic Technics such as Cranial, Visceral, Fascial and Structural technics.
