BEGINNERS YOGA FLOW

Come onto a mat to find your yogic breath, warm up and stretch the muscles and find your balance throughout a flow made of basic postures to learn how to align your body and link the movement to the breath. This is the ideal class for people who have never done yoga before as you will start from the roots. As modifications are offered to ease or challenge each pose, this is also suitable for intermediate levels.
LODGE (VINYASA) FLOW

Our Vinyasa flow yoga classes focus on use of breath to move in-between postures to promote balance, endurance and focus throughout the body. A creative arrangement of postures designed to bring you into a state of energised relaxation.
This is an energising flow class that will make you sweat. Vinyasa flow is all about connecting the breath to the movement and in this class you will work towards intermediate and more advanced postures throughout a continuous flow of asanas. Enjoy playlists specifically designed to carry you through the sequence either on uplifting lounge beats or relaxing sounds helping you to bring your focus inwards. Expect to stretch deeply, challenge your balance, twist and backbend your way finishing with a sweet and relaxing savasana.
PARENT AND BABY YOGA
Family time @theLodge.space. All of you lovely Mamas and Papas bring the tiny one along (0-1yrs) for a beautiful flow session together, combining land based postures for both yourself and your mini Lodger.
YIN & YANG YOGA
Yin & Yang combines a dynamic Vinyasa Flow with Yin Yoga. It creates the perfect balance moving from an energising flow into deep stretches in the end of the class. Yin & Yang helps you build both strength and flexibility and it will leave you ready to start the new week fresh and full of energy.
A relaxing but energising class for all you mums to be! Work with postures to improve balance and circulation, tone and strengthen muscles, and ease into the changes that are taking place through out your wonderful journey.
Kundalini yoga is the yoga of “awareness”. It uses techniques to bring together the body, mind and soul, to give a deeper and personal experience. The benefits of Kundalini Yoga bring balance to the body, such as the central nervous system and endocrine system, calming the mind through meditation and mantras and awakening the soul through the flow of the life force, the breath. This class is open to all levels.
The name Budokon translates to mean “the way of the spiritual warrior” (Bu – Warrior, Do – Way, Kon – Spirit).
This practice is a fusion of Zen Meditation, Yoga, Mobility and Calisthenics (body-weight training) that is based on a power and vinyasa flow style of Hatha Yoga integrated with Martial Arts movements and infused with some playful Animal Movement sequences. Budokon makes for a challenging and core-strengthening practice that will change the way you move for the better!
Power Yoga is a dynamic and physically challenging form of Yoga. It strengthens and tones the body, increases flexibility and helps improving balance both physically and mentally. While moving fluidly from one Asana into another, the link between movement and breath is an essential part of the practice.
Aerial Yoga draws on the alignment and technique of yoga; using a low hanging, wide Aerial Sling to aid in moving through traditional yoga postures. By supporting your body weight on the Aerial Sling, it helps to access these postures and deep stretches in a more relaxed way. One of the primary features of using a Yoga Hammock is its ability to decompress the spine and mitigate joint stress as you practice stretches and positions with the support of the sling. The ‘weightless’ aspect of these classes assists in allowing you to access a wider range of movement, moving through poses that would otherwise be restricted.
PARENT AND TODDLER
Parent/toddler (1-2yrs) yoga is focused on yoga for the parents, where they can bring their baby and do something for themselves at the same time (Calming down the mind, create strength and flexibility etc. all the good things that Yoga does). The children are encouraged to be part of the practice as the parent will show them a few poses that the children are able to do also. They can copy their parent if they want to and get the physical benefits from the practice also.
CANDLE LIT SLOW FLOW

Yin is a therapeutic practice that is meditative, slow paced, and helps balance an active lifestyle. You will explore long deep stretching to enhance flexibility and joint mobility while encouraging healing and realigning the body’s connective tissues.
Restore yourself by practicing gentle postures opening the body. Then find a comfortable lying position for Yoga Nidra or ‘yogic sleep’- a guided meditation to help bring you into a state of deep relaxation and healing. The perfect way to reset your system for the week ahead.
Hatha is an old form of Yoga that includes both the practice of asanas (Postures) and pranayama (Breathing), these together help bring peace to the mind and body, preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation. Welcome to all levels of practice.
A HIIT workout designed to strengthen, tone and increase your fitness in every way. Using a variety of bodyweight exercises, equipment and functional movement this ever changing class will keep you on your toes. After an intense calorie burn indulge in a energising yoga flow to finish the class, helping build flexibility, reduce muscle soreness and bring energy and focus to your day!
Building fitness, flexibility and endurance through yoga postures and breath work. A great workout to compliment gym or sports training and to fix posture imbalances we create from our daily work habits. This class is open to all levels but is designed to challenge you and help you find a strong, powerful yoga practice.

Ashtanga is the original power yoga. A systematic sequence of predetermined flowing postures linked together with the breath. Ashtanga is an athletic flow combining strength, flexibility and stamina for a complete practice. Ashtanga Yoga is different from many yoga classes in the West in that the order of asanas is completely predefined. A practice will comprise four main parts: an “opening sequence,” one of the six main “series”, a back-bending sequence, and a set of inverted asanas, referred to as the “finishing sequence.” Practice always ends with savasana.
RESTORATIVE FLOW YOGA

Restorative Flow is a gentle and slow paced style of yoga, with postures being held for longer periods of time. It helps to improve flexibility by stretching deep connective tissues between the muscles and fascia in the whole body. It helps to increase circulation in the joints and helps to regulate the flow of energy in our body. It is a wonderful way to de-stress and calm the mind.
